But since he left the Order ten years ago, he'd been living as a mortal...until now. The gates of the underworld are breaking open, and Zach is needed once again in the fight. But before he can answer his summons, there's one person he refuses to leave behind. Shanna may think Zach has screw loose, spouting all this "hounds of hell" nonsense, but he has to get her to safety. The journey to the Order's headquarters is a dangerous one, and even a warrior like Zach might not be strong enough to keep the darkness at bay.

What are we revising? An E-novella from Avon Impulse tentatively titled BEFORE THE FALL, a novella that takes place before Ascension. It's not a Kyana Aslan story, but rather, what happened the day Hell opened up?
In BEFORE THE FALL, we meet Zach Merchant - a retired Order of Ancients member who's called back to duty when Hell begins to open. But he can't leave Key West until he's sure the woman he was once in love with is safe as well.
Look for BEFORE THE FALL: A Dark Breed Novella this fall, followed shortly by BEDEVILED: A Dark Breed Novel - the next installment of the Kyana/Ryker saga which will be released in mass market paperback AND e-format December 27th!!!!!! A perfect Christmas gift!

9/1/2010 We finally have some news! Not much, but what we have, we share. Firstly, the Descendants of Fate books have a new series title. They will be Dark Breed Novels. The first book released in the series, out 26 April 2011, will be titled Ascension. Book two tentatively titled Salvation, no release info on that, but we'll definitely let you know (as if we could keep quiet about something like that!).We also know our blog is severely neglected. That will be remedied closer to our release date. What will it be about? Any darn thing that's on our minds, of course, but mostly, we're hoping to show the differences between us, talking about books, movies, T.V. etc. In the meantime, we've joined up with the ladies at the Supernatural Underground blog at www.supernaturalunderground.blogspot.com where all the hot ladies of paranormal romances hang out. Including Terri Garey, Joss Ware, Jocelynn Drake, Sophie Jordan, Jeaniene Frost and so many more. Our first post will be September 15th, so be sure to come say hi!
